Topic: AXP Gets New Rank Icons (Read 3411 times)

As some of you may have noticed your rank icons have changed (that little icon under your screen name that states your rank: Private, PFC, Sergeant, etc). In an attempt to spruce things up here at AXP we re-did all of the member and staff rank icons. Not that there was anything wrong with the previous icons, we just thought updating them and giving them a new look might be nice. We've also added more ranks to the list, which means that the post count that controls the rank "promotion" has changed. ...as a result many of you will notice that you've been demoted (...sorry). The post count was also changed because we felt that it should be more of a challenge to get the higher ranks. Only those who are truly dedicated to AXP will earn them.  It's been observed that some have been able to go from Private to Commander in three months... or so. No more! You're going to have to work for those promotions!  That a brings me to another minor point: the rank of Commander is gone. Technically it's not really a rank, so once you pass Colonel you still have a few more ranks to climb through. Here's the full list of new staff and rank icons along with their new post count requirements: AXP Staff:CEO - Admin Staff  Special Ops - Global Mods  W-Y Security (formerly Military Police) - Board Moderators  W-Y Enforcer  Special Forces  W-Y Advisors  W-Y R/D  AXP Member Groups (and their new post counts) Private 0-99 posts  PFC - 100 posts  Corporal - 200 posts  Sergeant - 300 posts  Chief Warrant Officer - 400 posts  2nd Lt. - 600 posts  1st Lt. - 800 posts  Captain - 1000 posts  Major - 1300 posts  Lt. Colonel - 1600 posts  Colonel - 2000 posts  Brig. General - 2500 posts  Mjr. General - 3500 posts  Lt. General - 4500 posts  General - 6000 posts  |
