I was looking at the "Recently Read" topic and thought "what if memebers wanted to post what they played or sang today?". Professionaly or even just for laughs. Play any instruments in a studio or in the comfort of home? Sing in the shower? Humming stuff on the way home from work? Post it here.
Yesterday I played 'Smoke on the Water' by Deep Purple and 'Stand by Me' by Ben E. King on my Acoustic Guitar.

I am constantly humming random tunes just for the hell of it. When I'm alone, that is. Anyone with a similar diagnose?

Isn't there a difference between listening and doing it yourself?

I'm trying to learn Primus' "Tommy the Cat" on bass. God, that's a tough rhythm to get the hang of.

It is going to take A LOT of practice to learn the South Park theme (acoustic guitar).

Fair enough, Chief. Learned to play Dance in the Dark on the piano a few months back and recently Johnny Cash's Wanted Man on the same instrument - all the while composing some stuff on my own. I think I already posted this, but this here track is the first one I properly recorded. Actually tis more a jam session.

Remember... short, controlled bursts.

I've been working on "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" on my violin. Man, that song is really hard to play fast.
And I've been humming the theme song to "Monsters" for the past week and a half.
