Unfortunately, Alcohol is only dangerous to you if you binge. A glass of Red Wine a day is not going to turn you into a raging alcoholic and is actually good for you as it helps lesson the chances of a fatal Heart Attack.

Heroin is always dangerous.

Simples.

I'll stick to my regulated Alcohol that I know wont put me into Hospital unless I go overboard with it, rather than a Narcotic Unregulated Substance that is always going to produce harmful side effects.

 I've been drinking for ten years, some of that time very heavily, and I'm not addicted. A shot of sambuca doesn't quite have the same effect as a shot of heroin. Yeah, you get a nasty hangover the next day, but that can't be the same as cold turkey, which is caused by a completely different set of circumstances; hangover is caused by the toxins created by the liver as a byproduct of eliminating alcohol from the body, whereas cold turkey is caused by the body becoming habituated and thus dependent on the heroin. The last thing I want when hung over is another drink!

I say all drugs should be legalized and controlled, where the state has a monopoly on illegal hard drugs such as heroin, crack, meth, etc., whereas light drugs like cannabis, exstacy, LSD, shrooms - and currently legal drugs - alcohol and tobacco would be sold on a free market.

I don't drink anymore, and I don't do drugs anymore either. Had a good couple of years on it, but I cut it out in order to take university more seriously. I like a nice cup of tea, a good movie, and a little company -- I sound old but I'm 22  I have another potential 60-70 years to get back on the binge!

Well if you say it, then I guess it has to be true. 

 Well, I was borderline around 2000-04, but I just got out of the habit, mainly out of boredom with the routine of forgetting what I'd done the night before!

I do miss going out though, more because I don't get to see my friends so much nowadays.

None of those three are addictive, are they? I also don't hear about many LSD or ecstasy overdoses. Though that doesn't mean it can't happen, I suppose.

Because acid is non-toxic. I don't reckon ecstasy is addictive, or at least, I've never been addicted.
