Well, more books means more movies...

To be honest, all of this news disappoints me.  Undecided

^ Hmmm I dunno, the trilogy was rounded off perfectly, another one just seems like one step too far but we all know how this story goes don't we Wink

Shyamalan's new film is called 'Reincarnate' and is part of his 'Night Chronicles', 'Devil' being the first. I believe, Like 'Devil', its just his story and name on the film, he won't be directing or starring.

Oh, boy...

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/19291/3d-hollywood-remake-of-woo-s-the-killer-

While I don't have an issue with the concept of remaking The Killer, I am unconvinced that these people (who I have never heard of) are going to do it justice at all. Take out Woo's signature style and Lowell Lo's unique soundtrack, and it'll be a rather generic actioner.

Also, fans of I Love You, Man should check this out:

Well, this is almost certain to be a major fail...

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/19376/levy-helms-fantastic-voyage-remake

James Cameron has been making nothing but weak-ass films ever since his comeback, and Shawn Levy is basically the human embodiment of Nickelodeon. That's a good thing if you're eight. If you're a childless 29-year-old...not so much.

Oh, well. I guess I'll always have Innerspace.

Sorry, I guess I am a pessimist. That does sound good. The Cooler, Crossing Over and The Messenger are all good flicks in my eyes, so the pedigree is decent as well.

Hmmm...

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/19393/boyle-s-frankenstein-goes-theatrical

They should do this more often. I am considering making an effort to see this, if it comes anywhere near me. Erie, PA has a real nice theater that does this kind of stuff. MMA matches, that stupid Glenn Beck thing, Rifftraxx Live, etc.

Christ on a cracker! Well, if they weave him into cameos like they've been doing instead of jamming him in as a major character, I'll be cool. I want to see him front and center for his own film, and The Avengers, though.

Also, do people think they should have Stark and Rogers butt heads in the Avengers flick? Might be a good way to develop both characters, as Tony's a twat and Steve's 1940s ideals will probably need to be addressed.
