AXP's Predator Theme Get's New Rank Icons

When we updated AXP's rank icons we neglected to include the Predator theme in that modification, so it had to share the green icons from the default theme.  ...Being a bit of an alien chauvinist I take the blame for this - I never considered the Predator theme during the update.

Well, that's been fixed.  The Predator theme now has it's own set of rank icons. (all staff icons remain the same - only the standard memebergroups have been modified.)

Glad I could be of service.  But this is unrelated but I'm sure you know who to talk to about this. The main poll on AXP hasnt been changed for a while, and i'd like to quit selecting the pred scout ship.

If memory serves, Anto had an idea for choosing a species, and each having its individual ranking. Personally that sounds like a fantastic idea. I have no idea how long it takes to make the default icons, but honestly could it really take that long for a simple and more interesting ranking system? just a thought tho as I personally know little about these kind of things.

No, Blackwatch didn't say that.  He just said he was sorry it hadn't been changed.  We can take care of this, actually I had posed a question about this to the staff  a while back.  I think I need to bump that one again.

LOL.  Yeah, you can change the theme by going in to your profile Look and Layout Preferences Current Theme: Forum or Board Default (change)

It's a valid suggestion.  The icons wouldn't take too long... although this round took me quite a while to do just because of real-world stuff that I had going on.  What would take a while would be the creation of the themes to apply the ranks and rank icons too.  At the moment there are some under-the-hood mods that we are considering - and those would need to get done first before any new themes could be done and applied.  So, I'm not saying such a modification couldn't happen, I'm just saying t wouldn't happen right away.

Now another kinda unrelated question. Are people still doing honours? Like the little badges and so on for good forum conduct ect. I remember a thread were the inducted(?) people and such does this still go on, or another back burner situation?

Yes, that still goes on.  This past year we were a little lax with awarding medals, but that will soon be addressed.
