In the midst of continuous romours and gossip, which I've personally refused to post, given how unreliable the sources where, Fox has finally spoken out the upcoming Alien Prequel. So far we can now confirm, it's only one film and it's not titled Paradise. 20thFoxCC Chris Petrikin

I would be very concerned if Ripley were in the prequel, given that she would appear 30 years older than she does in Alien, and given that she had no knowledge of the existence of the creature in that film.

Nah, a 55-year-old Ripley will just show up at the end having traveled from the future. With a gigantic hybridized weapon three times as bad-ass as the Pulse Rifle/Incinerator contraption.

Look, is anyone not worried that the prequel is set 30 years before Alien, a film which was released in the same year that Sigourney became 30? Coincidence? I think not.  Clearly a 60 year old Charlotte Ripley nee Bishop will encounter a Space Jockey who will give her the thing she always wished for - a daughter, cloned from her very own cells, and imbued with Alien ass kicking powers. |
