Surprised theres not a thread coverin this yet.

www.swtor.com

Take a gander at the videos. Focusing on story mainly. Actual cut-scenes when taking quests. Set 300 or so years after KOTOR 2.

Classes revealed so far are Bounty Hunter, Sith Warrior, Trooper and Smuggler with 4 more to be revealed(2 more for each side, Republic and Sith Empire).

Developer Walkthrough of a sith flashpoint/quest instance

Hopefully it undoes the mess that Star Wars Galaxies left. Thinks

Fucking Brilliant! Some great CG in here.

I'm not into MMOs, but this looks pretty cool!

BTW - who's doing the voice over in the above linked trailer?  I can see his face, but I'm drawing a blank on his name.

BioWare does some good stuff, but that CG trailer is completely pointless when compared to the actual game itself. The only game that's ever lived up and stayed true to its CG concept trailer (that I can think of at the moment at least) is Assassin's Creed. The game itself looks bland, stale and pretty uninteresting. So why should I be excited about a game whose trailer represents absolutely nothing of the actual game itself?

I don't like the fact that the Star Wars games coming out these days are straying too far from its source material with its over the top balls-to-the-walls force powers. The last (really) good Star Wars game in my opinion was Jedi Outcast, which not only stayed very true to its source material, but expanded on it in a "realistic" way.

The Force Unleashed was ridiculous, but admittedly fun (for 20 minutes). I never played Star Wars Galaxies though, but I hear that's pretty damn good!

Where I can get the direct download of this game. I have never played the game before but it sounds interesting. Can any one here help me?

I remember beta testing Star Wars Galaxies back in college...I promise everyone, we told them about the structure problems....I know though that Bioware will get the job done right this time around and cannot wait for this.

Everytime I see that face on the internetZ, I really, laugh out loud. The other day I laughed and even said "LOL", to no one. I was alone. Then I laughed some more, and made a noose...

J/K! Or am I?

A: That is what the Clone Wars series should have looked like

B: It's a pity that's a MMORPG, can't see myself ever playing it, ever.

C: "All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again"?

I am still eagerly waiting for this to be released. I am, in fact, looking to buy a whole new gaming rig to run it.... Hey!  It's Ripley and Newt and a pulse rifle!  Woohoo!
