Isn't the voice at the beginning of the trailer Rapace's? It sounds like a Swedish/English accent.

I suppose that depends whether her character comes from Africa or not, or probably it doesn't depend at all

I've just thought of something; The human ship in the trailer (I can only presume is The Prometheus) bears a striking resemblance to The Betty. They share the overall layout, and the twin engines (I know there are four on Prometheus, but they are similar enough that they look like an earlier stage in the development of the technology) flanking the main body of the craft. It fits in quite well with Ripley 8's comment regarding her ability to fly The Betty: "Are you kidding? This piece of shit is even older than I am!"

Please, God...no Resurrection references in this movie! You wouldn't appreciate a jesting analogy about the safety of buying forks at Walmart for a newborn? Or awkward moments of trying to french kiss through plexi-glass? Or comments about getting sick on Lacerta? ...Oh, the tie-ins are innumerable!

How are they going to reference something that has not happened yet?

It's called plagarism... It's only plagiarism if they don't have permission... Either way, Ripley 8 stated that the Betty was older than she was, therefore it would be from around about the Prometheus era, so it wouldn't be referencing Resurrection so much as retroactively foreshadowing it. Besides, it's Fox/Brandywine, they can reference their own property if they want to. Either way, the ship isn't identical, so it doesn't really matter.
