Anyone wanna play a game? I decided that this year for the Oscars I'm going to predict the winner for each category. I really haven't seen many of the movies so most of it is just going to be uneducated guesses. Then for each category that I get correct I'm going to award myself a point. 24 points in all. Since there's 9 best picture nominees I think I'm going to pick two and give myself half a point if one of them wins. Or maybe I'll choose one. Not sure.
Whoever gets the most guesses right wins?

The Artist will win everything.
The last time I truly had an interest in the Oscars was when Return of the King was nominated. After that, it was just movies by pretentious pricks and Meryl Streep winning them.
I really do hate Meryl Streep.

I got 8/24, not to be all one upmanship like, but Plummer took me to 8!
Otherwise I just picked the Artist ( which I think is shit! )
And Rango, and that Iranian film, because IRAN is HOT in the news nowadays..
Not to be rascist, so NEGaway, but I am shocked that during Black History Month, The Help only won one.
WE SHOULD STILL HAVE A FRANCHISE OSCAR'S WHERE EVERY FILM IN OUR UNIVERSE IS NOMINATED AND EVERY ACTOR IS AS WELL, WE CAN COVER MOST OF THE 24 CATAGORIES...

In other news... I watched The Artist last night with my flat mates. 3 of which are Frence and one Belguin.. so it was a partial crowd... My thoughts, uh. The concept was good, no it was fucking great, fresh yet classical... but... FUCK THIS MOVIE! THE DOG SHOULD HAVE WON BEST ACTOR, OR SOMETHING! ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT IT ACTUALLY WON... HOW CAN YOU WIN BEST ACTOR AND NOT ACT OR TALK... STUPID! |

Eh..fuck the orange names. If we really want to get it off the ground we can do it ourselves. My only concern is this place really hasn't seemed overly active lately unless I'm perceiving things wrong. It'd probably take a while to get in all the votes again.
