Benedict Wong recently spoke about Prometheus being filmed with 3D cameras and his experience working with Ridley Scott, excerpt below: Wong, who plays Ravel in the film, is no stranger to science fiction, having appeared in Moon and Sunshine (and also known for his roles in UK sitcom The IT Crowd and his interviewer's short-lived sketch series, The Peter Serafinowicz Show). After a brief discussion of Avatar and the re-release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (for which Serafinowicz provided the voice of Darth Maul), Wong talked about the technical aspects of Prometheus:
"It's gonna be in 3D, so get thee to an IMAX. The cameras are... well, if you got very excited about the 3D usage on Avatar, it's gonna be the next level now. The type of cameras they're using - the RED cameras. The technicians that use the cameras are really excited about it."You can read the whole article over at the Den of Geek website.
