Like I said, Ridley is the only one of the 'beards' (Spielberg, Lucas, Cameron are the others) who hasn't lost his edge. Robin Hood may not have been great, but on a film making level shits on Indy 4, Avatar and the Star Wars prequels.

Honestly, aside from the Prometheus kamakazi bombing the Derelict being a massive spoiler, I'm not sure I have any idea what the hell else is happening. People are even claiming there's actually another spaceship called the Magellan with it's own David and there's two Fassbender's in the film. That's it for me trailer wise. I'm bowing out for fear they'll spoil even more of the film. But I'll keep up with the virals.

I've avoided the specualtion for the most part. A lot of it is mindbogglingly silly.
But this is officially sanctioned stuff, which was suitably mysterious when the teaser came out. Now we know Prometheus is beckoned into space by the 'Jockies' so they can be woken up and then fly to Earth to invade it - only to be stopped by Kamikaze Prometheus.
Of course there seems to be more shit going on with slimy stuff, but it gave more stuff away than I would've liked. We now know what she's 'sorry' and 'wrong' about.

Yeah it is kind of a bummer. Wish they would've just stuck with 2 minutes of spectacle instead of 2 minutes of "this is what the movie is about so you'll be comfortable when you go to the theater."

I've not read it all yet. What I have read is interesting. I like the refernces to the other Alien flicks, though it does seem like they're cramming a bit too much in there. I alwys figured WY was one of many corporations. Seems they really are THE company.
