Very odd comment from Michael Biehn here:

"People always ask me, 'What did you think of Alien 3, what did you think of Alien 4? What did you think of Terminator 3 and 4?

Basically I say, 'There's Terminator 1, there's Terminator 2. The rest of it is garbage. And there's Alien and Aliens. The rest is garbage'. Because you just don't follow Ridley Scott; you just don't follow Jim Cameron."

On a Biehn related note, I only found out the reason his career died in the early 90's was due to his alcoholism getting in the way of his work a few weeks ago. But he's been sober for a while now. More power to him.

Of course, I'd be pissed too if I'd gotten written out of a consistent lucrative income awesome franchise.

He'll pop up in a Planet Terror or a Divide occasionally, but the dude took offence to Sylvester Stallone publicly saying he wished Beihn would make a come back. I guess being friend's with James Cameron and being a twat aren't mutually exclusive.

I think he was much better in The Rock than Tombstone. Then again: I didn't like Tombstone that much.

Tombstone was a movie I watched during my "I don't like westerns, but I will give it a shot." phase. I didn't dig it. Since then, stuff like Deadwood, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and the remakes of 3:10 to Yuma and True Grit have changed my outlook on westerns. Perhaps I should give it another shot.

I can actually relate to it.

The way he feels about everything after cameron is the same way that I feel about cameron and everything after Alien.

Biehn seems like an alright dude, if never seeming terribly intelligent.

But then he is an actor so thats almost like saying a goldfish that isn't a terribly good auto mechanic.

The less you know about your fav actors, the better. Or you could learn the things you don´t really wanna know. Biehn is a gifted actor for sure, lately choosing small and mostly boring projects. Okay, you gotta pay bills. But he´s right about those films being garbage... in my opinion, thats it.
