Just wondering if anyone has any large size photos of the [presumably] bioweapons-division soldiers from the end of Alien3 (unofficially called 'Alien Handlers' in that Alien Trilogy computer game) preferably to the same degree as those photos of the 'dog catchers'? I'm especially curious to see what their helmets looked like in detail.
Sorry, wasn't sure if this was meant to go in The Ready Line under military technology, or in here for details on costumes/props.

Heres a large picture of one of the Soldiers helmets enlarged for someone recently. It's not perfect but i hope it gives you an idea of the helmets. David Fincher had the Pulse Rifles in Alien 3 painted black.

Very interesting, many thanks for that - I especially like the asymmetrical design of them, there's an almost steampunk style to them. I wonder what the inspiration for their design was (sadly I don't believe any of this is in the Alien3 documentaries on the boxset).
Did these guys have an actual official name?

Did these guys have an actual official name? In the script and the Novel they were just refered to as 'Commandos'.

Did these guys have an actual official name? Watching the Alien 3 workprint recently, in the scene with Aaron and Ripley asking the company permission to terminate the Alien theres an extra shot of the computer screen that refers to the Commandos as Medivac/Biological Management Team: Thought it might be worth a mention...

If I made an Alien movie today...I totally would retro it out like that. Big-ass clunky tech. It's so much cooler. Plus, in 20 years people will be laughing at the tech in movies like Minority Report the same way people laugh at the tech in the Aliens flicks.
