James Cameron's AVATAR: The Game -- review

Hi folks - here's a link to my review of "James Cameron's AVATAR: The Game" which I wrote up for the LA Times.

This video game rocks on many levels -- it's very cinematic and immersive, and a helluva lot of fun to play! While the game has received some decidedly mixed responses (as many games, movies, etc. often do) -- many have really enjoyed it.  It is odd though to see some other reviews that gave a subpar rating for the game and their "final word" on it -- and then admittedly, they said they didn't even try or fully explore the online gaming aspect of it...! -- which of course is a huge component and element of gaming viability!
