Tip Tipping was the long time stuntman and actor who starred as PFC Crowe in Aliens. Tip died after his parachute failed to open while reenacting a sky-diving accident for the BBC television show 999, which dramatically reconstructs real-life accidents, mishaps and near-misses. The tragedy occured near Alnwick, England. Some of his credits include Doctor Who, Krull, Hamburger Hill, Batman, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
